The Beijing Games: A Conspiracy Novel by Pat DePaolo

About the Author

Author Pat DePauloPat DePaolo writes fiction full time after retiring from an active business and technical career spanning more than forty years. He’s witnessed first-hand the rise and fall of many American manufacturing companies, due to both fair and unfair competition, and devoted nearly two years researching material for his first novel, THE BEIJING GAMES.

A chemical engineer and graduate chemist, he has authored several non-fiction publications, including: the American Chemical Society Advances in Chemistry Series; the first Handbook of Thermoplastic Elastomers; and trade publications, such as Modern Plastics Magazine, and Findings.

Pat’s extensive business background includes a ten-year career with a major chemical and plastics company, as well as founding and managing eight small companies, which achieved various distinctions, such as: listings on INC 500 as the 128th fastest growing private company in America; the Top Twenty-Five Technology Companies in Connecticut; and a successful NASDAQ public offering. Along the way, he’s found time to study fiction writing at the Famous Writers School in Westport, Connecticut.

Pat lives in Cheshire, Connecticut and Cape Cod, Massachusetts with his wife Phyllis. Their four sons are pursuing careers in the family business, law and community service.

Papa, I’m so proud of you for writing this book. My parents said that they loved reading it. They said it’s full of interesting characters and has a great plot. I can’t wait until I am old enough to read it.
